*dire-musaera said it would be a good idea to draw Foi alone instead of with his bff, prehaps doing something nerdy.Took about 1 hour and 1/2 (computer was lagging like crazy near the end so importing the textures took a while), drawing time, maybe 1 hr.
If you don't know the obvious drawing style inspiration I weep for you.

Copying someone else's work is tricky, but you learn tons and tons while doing it. I remember years ago, I copied one of bill watterson's trees - and then I saw one of the slightly cartoon-background-y trees that my litte sister's art teacher did, and I've been drawing my trees in a mix of those styles since, as best as I can remember it.

Watterson does these amazing layouts where he manages to convey tons of depth with minimal background. So amazing, glad you think I got some of that.

I like it cause it's fast and looks nice. I really wanted to color this one in the same style that Bill Watterson does though but I knew I would just end up color picking his beautiful colors, so I guess I just decided to do it "my style" XD
