The original is for sale. Contact me for more information.Or well, not that she looks that much like Hermione any more, I did a lot without reference and it shows XD but still, the reference was originally Hermione.
Ok, this was a really quick drawing to just experiment with watercolour pencils and oil pastel. I was going to add water, but I liked what it looked like so much at that point that I hardly dared to. Didn't want to ruin it. The scanner ruined it in the end anyway, the colours look terrible and I had to edit it so much to even get it to resemble the original slightly... Bah.
I'm still working on the other artworks, I promise. It's just... slowly, because of my RSI.
Either way....
~4-5 hours, I think?
Watercolour pencil and oil pastel (no lineart or anything, just straight onto the paper) on Terschelling aquarel paper.

Oh yes! Hermione! It's not an exact 'copy' of how she looks I think, but unmistakably her. I love it ^^
How's your RSI now, btw? It must suck to feel like painting (or drawing or writing or w/ever) and not being able to because of that...

Meh, I'm going to visit the doctor again tomorrow. I thought it was passing, but now it's back in force ;-;
And yeah, I was originally planning to do a drawing with watercolour pencils, leaving parts just pencil and parts watercolour, then possibly fixate it and finish it with oil pastels and a new layer of pencil for richer colours. However, the pencil came out looking decent in itself, so I didn't want to possibly ruin it with water. I'm contemplating drawing Harry next time and adding water to that.

Things like that are a pain... I used to get some kind of strain in either of my wrists and wouldn't be able to lean my weight on my hands for a while and things like that. Haven't had it for a while tho.

En ja, was ook de bedoeling om iets heel anders te doen. Uiteindelijk toch maar geen water erbij dus dat wordt dan met een andere tekening wel weer. Ben van plan om wat te gaan experimenteren met dingen.

I think it does look like hermoine, especially like the younger ones in the first few movies. Maybe her hair could've been a little bit more curly, though. But it's really great, you're such a good artist!
