He looks a lot more like someone who could actually jump across an elevator to reach the ladder on the other side with his hardened face and thicker neck.

oh yea and the lambda sign for no reason. i guess valve wanted him to look like another ordinary scientist but in my imagination freeman gets more hardened and insane due to the events he encounters through the game. the neck and face shape is depicted thicker to show his physical condition while the face impression comes with the crowbar
