Alright then. Now another thing i want to know is If based on the Thunderwarrior figure in the armor through the ages kit is what kind of pieces would you recommend to use for converting a normal marine to a thunder warrior. As far as i know i figured i could possibly use IG helmets. scout heads and arms, chaos backpacks and boots but i have no idea of which Forge world chest peice would look better, Deathguard MKIII or regular MK III iron armor chest peice

Hmm, I don't know much about the Thunder Warriors apart from the pic on the Games Workshop site. I don't know if I'd use IG heads/helmets - they might be a little small. Worth a try though! You could also try using the various bare-heads from regular marine kits, and if you're feeling really adventurous, try sculpting helmets on them with greenstuff or something.
I also probably wouldn't use chaos backpacks, at least not without modifying them first - the exhausts tend to be noticeably further out away from the backpacks than what I'm seeing on the Thunder Warrior pic. It's possible to modify chaos backpacks though to put the round exhaust things closer to the backpack itself, it just involves some very careful cutting and sanding and some glue. XD I've done it myself but I don't have any pics yet 'cause I haven't touched my WH40k stuff for like a year. :\ Or you could just use regular marine backpacks.
As for chestplates, I really don't know. You could try both, perhaps - maybe the Thunder Warriors had a mixture of different armour designs as the Emperor was developing them, who knows. Go with whatever you think looks coolest!

Thanks For the Advice on the Subject. I think both would be good the way i look at it because from other pictures i just found shows that most thunder warriors wore blank armor just colored to match the legion they were belonging too.

Nothing bad to say from the pics. Looks really good. Would have to see it in person to get the full feel and intricacies of it but other than that it looks awesome.

Eventually! Might be a while though, currently working on customising a squad of chaos terminators, it'll probably be some time before they're done. Got a couple of other projects that might get done before them, too.

Haha, oddly enough I think that's just an artistic oversight there on that pic; I've got the "HH: Collected Visions" book and they're always round from the side. But yeah, they're more annoying to make, especially consistently... I never managed to find a decent plastic cylinder as a base. There was a tutorial on Dakkadakka for using Tamiya plastic barrels, but it didn't work so well for me.

Heh, entirely possible! I've gone through the Collected Visions book as well - some awesome Sons stuff in there, definitely. Though the only other pic of Sons Terminators I can recall atm is this one , which had the curved shoulderpads, yeah. But I prefer the square ones, honestly.
And hey, the different shoulderpads could be for different ranks or cults of Terminators. Who knows. XD
Thinking about it, the way I'd probably make rounded shoulder pads is to find a tube or something that's about the right diameter, then coat it in vaseline or something and flatten out greenstuff or milliput onto it. Cut it into shape either before or after the greenstuff's dry, then slide it off the tube. The general shape might not be highly consistent, depending on your accuracy cutting the overall shape, but at least the curve would be! Heck, if the tube's long enough you could probably do several at once.
Hmm, now I'm half-tempted to try this.

Ahh, hehe, np. Dude, sleep more! XD
Yeah, I was thinking of push-casting shoulders - I've got some of that Instant Mould stuff that you can reuse for casting, it's great stuff. If I do decide to go with rounded shoulders instead I might try that, dunno yet.

I don't have time for sleep, I'm too busy >_>
And I've not used instant mould, what's it like? It was on my to-buy list before I realised I wouldn't have time or space for minis when I went back to university... I tend to use two-part silicone putties.

It's pretty nifty! It's basically this clear putty kinda stuff - you soften it by dropping it in hot water for a coupla minutes, then press whatever you're moulding into it and let it cool. Then you just use it as a press mould. You can use it as a two-part mould as well, but it's a little more fiddly, I need to practice doing that some more before I get anything decent, I think. Basically do one half, put it in the fridge to cool that half quickly, then press the other half on top, and they won't meld together.
Greenstuff and other moulding stuff doesn't stick to it, so it's pretty easy to get whatever you're moulding out once it hardens. Just don't use any sort of resin that needs heat or creates heat as it cures, 'cause it'll warp the mould.
Best part is, the stuff's reuseable. Just drop it in hot water again!

Sounds a bit like it's a similar plastic to low-melt hot glue gun glue...

Well it's not toooo sticky until it gets too hot. Warm water isn't enough, from memory...
