X-V is a mysterious powerhouse. Her part alien physiology grants her near immunity to most physical force and she is unaffected by most gases.   Thus, she is most difficult to take down. She has demonstrated some susceptibility to energy blasts and psionic powers.   Even so, only the highest ratings of such powers seem sufficient to stop her.

X-V's motives remain unknown, but she has been classified as a hulk-level menace. She has defeated a number of heroines and heroes in nonlethal combat, apparently for sport. A camera drone, whose technology has been identified as Mojovian, has been spotted and occasionally disabled during most of her appearances. A cloaking field conceals the camera, but the effectiveness of its coverage seems to fluctuate.

She kidnapped Lois Lane, giving her a brief interview, before Lane's protector Superman appeared.  X-V defeated Superman, but Supergirl and Power Girl managed to weaken her and perhaps even render her unconscious.   When she appeared to have been knocked out, she dematerialized from view, making any conclusions tenuous about her condition.

She has been known to use weapons of alien origin, most recently zapping Supergirl and Wonder Grace as they were flying on patrol.   Wonder Grace was kidnapped. An eyewitness observed X-V leaving the scene in an unmarked vehicle. Although a number of security cameras were in the vicinity, surveillance footage was wiped, presumably by the camera drone that was briefly seen before phasing out of sight.
