Part five of the series Lost in Manehattan, the series about filly-AJ looking for a different life in the corrupted city. Finally got it done, I admit it's been awhile since the last submission.It's a single page comic. There's not going to be any sequel pages or anything. Actually I'm not very sure if I'd call it a comic, since it's not a comic in the usual way of having a beginning and an end, or story at all. It's more of a feeling that I wanted to capture in the form of series of pictures that resembles of a comic.
Now I'm not a painter, but at least I tried.
In this part Applejack finally finds the area where her relatives live. The place that at least seams to be better than other Manehattan. There's hope in the air.

capture the essence and down it on paper is what artist do and that is something you don't try to do is something you already are after all what art is the way to express ourselves, and what catch my attention is the last panel full of color and a bright smile on applejack, hope this reflect you're okay and in better conditions. as well you never stop to amazed me in your pictures even in the none pony ones you have I found it fascinating.

Still loving this series. I'm always excited when I see a new page in my notifications. Very nice work on bringing in more color to lighten the mood when AJ finds the correct neighborhood. And excellent job on all the little details here just like in the others.

AJ's face is so adorable in the last panel. Nice way of conveying emotions - from black and white to colours.

That's another great piece.
And going from black-and-white to color to symbolize the transition from the corrupted, hostile parts of the city to a somewhat more welcoming environment - that really works very well, and it's a far stronger effect than I would've thought it'd be if someone'd asked me beforehand. I suppose it's also the transition from cross-hatched lines to watercolor that contributes to that.

Well, that's a good question. I really took my time with this. There was many days that I didn't work at all, but I could have done this in probably two days with all the breaks included or so. I usually have at least one night between the pencil sketch and ink outlining. To keep my mind fresh, you know.

I really like how the art style is noticeably changed by the final panel. It's a great effect that really does give one the feel of hope because of the colors and smoothness. Very well done ^^
