DeviantArt has gone through at least two overhauls since I last updated. It took me forever to find the "Submit" option.

A very young Asharru. This turned out almost exactly the way I'd hoped. It's so very rare that things work out that way, and even rarer that I take an image past the pencil-sketch stage. So I'm pretty damn pleased!

I apologize if the photoshopping burns anyone's eyes. I debated the colors before choosing this over a more muted version. It just seemed the more striking of the two.

I'd like to point out, because I am a dork and it's terribly appropriate, that the frame is awfully reminiscent of a venus figurine. I wish I could say that was intentional but, like most of my best ideas, I stumbled onto it while dicking around with the toolbar.
