Tom is Mercy’s younger brother. Technically a half brother since they only share a father but he was raised by his father alongside Mercy as her younger brother. While Mercy started a charity to gain good social standing within the region Thomas decided to go the old fashioned way of challenging the league.
He rose through the ranks easily and after reaching champion statuship decided to decline the position of having to stick around the league and fight challengers but still enjoyed the perks of having beaten the league. He helped his sister’s charity florush by bringing league challengers and members to her events and was in turn helped by her who often sponsored his league endeavors or gifted him pokemon to help him.
When Mercy decided to leave for Issho he followed behind under the guise of wanting to challenge the Issho league now that he had finished the Unova one. In reality he just wanted to keep an eye on her and have an excuse to take a vacation to a new region.

Daito - Doublade - Daito was a honedge left with Thomas when his mother left him with his father. The two are inseparable, though he has no interest in evolving any time soon.
Roxanne - Mercy gave her to him as a zorua for his tenth birthday. Since she originally belonged to Mercy she’s named after a song though no one seems to notice. She likes disguising herself as other humans to play jokes on them.
O’Malley - Torracat - Tom imported this feisty fire type from an Alolan breeder. He likes to lounge in the sun though he’s extremely irritable when disturbed.
Harrison - Gardevoir - Another imported mon; Tom wanted a psychic type to help him read minds but learned very quickly never to snoop on his sister and her ghosts. He likes listening to music with Tom.
Jagger - Midnight Lycanroc - Imported from the same breeder as O’Malley, Jagger is one of the more aggressive members of the team. He serves as Tom’s guard dog and occasional pillow when he feels like letting his trainer take a nap on him.
