Lara was born to child psychologist Dr Basil and his late wife in Oakheart City and was raised alongside Hunter as a sort of adopted brother. She became extremely protective of him and always offered to come with him whenever he went out. Though her dream was originally to become a pokemon trainer learning how pokemon could help humans through her father’s research and her brother’s experience has made her consider training therapy pokemon instead. Still wanting the experience of training pokemon under her belt regardless of which career path she chooses she has decided to accompany Hunter on his league challenge both to watch over him and become a better trainer herself.

Leafy - Her first pokemon and the child of her late mother’s leavanny, she’s been raising him since she was five, having belonged to her father before that
Jangle - Lara’s starter pokemon given to her by the professor when she first chose to seek out the gym challenge. He has since evolved in the time Lara has waited to challenge the gyms
