I'm actually rather happy about this.
I wanted to give it a sort of Autumnal feeling. Here we have Nightingale's babies; Cliff (Samhain's foal) on the left and Orion (Caballero's son) on the right. (Orion, technically, is a yearling, but he's rather small... ^^)

OH!!! MY!!! LORD!!!!!!! Why is there so much utter cuteness in this picture?!?! Cliff's face markings are absolutely adorable and lovely and those big blue EYES! And Orion is like THE perfect palomino. I love pale palos with the pretty white manes. Great job on the autumn feel as well; it brings out both foals' colours and patterns extremely well: the yellowing grass and the orange autumn leaves are the perfect background for both little angels! Very very very VERY wonderful job, and I absolutely can NOT wait to see more of these gorgeous boys!!

Ooh you have no idea how happy your comment made me! I've had such Β problem with palominos for so long, I'm very glad Ori actually looks like one! He'll become a bit more golden as he matures, though, his father is a bit lighter than he will be. It's really good that it looks Autumn-y, too! I love pictures with atmosphere, so to know this actually has some of it is really very nice.

Aaaaaah! This is beyond adorable! The autumn wash of colours definitely comes across nicely - I totally love your trees! The branches with the clusters of colour just make a wonderful impression without being overpoweringly detailed. And maybe its just a preference thing, but I'd have put a few more browns in the grass, I think...
Those two foals are really sweet! I utterly adore Cliff's face - how you've drawn that is perfect (I find face on so difficult at times) and the colours in him, with the blue eyes is lovely. And as usual, your palomino colouring is beautiful. You've gotten a very soft honey-gold shade on Orion, but I really like the touches of grey to his muzzle and joints. And with the sharp horizon and vast sky, its kind of looks like they're turned out on a hill at the top of the world.

Yeah, Autumn is my favourite by a landslide, then winter, then summer. I really just don't like spring at all, and I'm not sure why

I hate the Summer. :/ I actually like Spring, mostly because normally it's still cold... The unbearable heat hasn't quite set in yet.

Sometimes our springs stay chilly, and then summer explodes out of winter. Other times it's more gradual and its like this pointless inbetween stage. I dunno; I've just never been fond of spring.
And that's epic. Definitely not what we get here! So yep, your grass is just fine in your painting

XD It's probably because of the different climate; our Summer is very hot and dry so the grass dries out. It has to be kept trimmed because there's quite a great risk of fire. And then, the first time it rains, all the green grass pops out. It's awesome.

That would be it, definitely. The closest we usually get to a heat wave is when you pass under one of the heating vents on your way into a huge home furnishings store. The different weather is definitely to blame

No arguments here. There's that wonderful chill in the air that we start getting over here in October that just smells and feels like winter and Halloween and Christmas all at once. I can't even describe it, but its one of my favourite feelings in the world ^^
