The 1930s were a crazy time. It was during this decade that women started wearing shorts as an act of youth and defiance (it supposedly caused a car crash too). Naturally, Josephine would be all up on that, being the tough, outspoken youngin' she is.
Hairstyles during this period were short and wavy/curled. I imagine that Joseph would be rebellious yet a tad narcissistic enough to follow the makeup/hair trends. 1930s makeup was red lips, blush, and blueish eyeshadow.
The upwards flip that Joseph usually has wouldn't be as plausible for a girl of this period, so I made it into a loose lock of curls instead.
When training with Lisa Lisa (or a male version? Dealers choice as to whether or not EVERYONE is genderbent) she would certainly be allowed to wear whatever the hell she wishes, especially since the pillar (wo)men obviously don't care for modesty. Such freedom!
