Small in size but very bulky and muscular Darksun is a tough one. And though I said small, by no means is he short. If he was he'd probably hate it.

[ Brief Personality - Distant | Loyal ONLY to loved ones | Grudge Holding | Sweetheart ]

• Distant
Where he use to be short tempered, Darksun just finds himself pulling away from life for a few moments every once and a while. he doesn't really know why he does it, but he does. It takes a patient, gentle soul to snap him out of these more distant moods, and any other personalities that try to fight him out will only meet him withdrawing from them more. It's probably because of the trauma from the floods and the loss of self for a little bit there. He doesn't mean harm by it, but it can be pretty frustrating or sad for others watching on the outside.

• Loyal ONLY to loved ones
His clan left him in the dust... His family probably doesn't even know (or care) that he survived the flood. Why would loyalties really matter? As long as you find a home and can fight for it it means nothing if it's where you where born. That's total bull. Thats what your leaders tell you because they want amazing warriors like yourself to stay. Find your happy place and stay there and don't give a crap who tells you its not the right place. Make it that. This is all how Darksun feels. Sure, he doesn't have much care fro Stoneclan or his family but he loves Emberstar who took him in, and through her he''d die for Willowclan as well.or at least try his darndest fighting for it. it's home for him, but if something else opened up, the only thing that would make him stay where he was where those he loved. Not some clan, not some warrior code nuthin.

• Grudge Holding
Ever have that one cat who you make an oppsie once and make an enemy out of it? Yup, that's Darksun. he feels so hard done by from all those around him he is quick to make sure that you won't ever hurt him again. Every cat gets one chance with this tom, screw up- even lightly- and he will walk away and never care to have your presence near his own again. ever. As well, he will make it well known.

• Sweet hearted
As he has found a family, and a father figure, that have been more steady in his life he has started to warm up and be able to let others in to his more sweety pie side. He has found that he always longed for a big family that was affectionate, so in turn he tried to be affectionate to all those he considers family. He still doesn't think he's great at cheering others up, but he still always gives his best shot at it.

He was born and lived a happy ole kit life. There.

• [Apprentice]

Spiderstar died. That was when everything spun out of control. His happy exterior hardened and slowly he started to grow really angry with everyone. He blamed it on everyone he spoke to because he couldn't think that maybe if he had just done something, anything differently then maybe he'd still have his father. the one cat he loved more than anyone else in the whole world.

But clan life moves on, a new leader and deputy where chosen and Darksun fell behind. he couldn't move on, it was his own father that died! the LEADER! As more and more cats stopped grieving and moved on the more he became angry and desolate. He grew so bitter and moody cats pulled away from him... most even forgot that he was bitter because he was the son of the once famous leader. That pissed him off even more, now he was nobody. Not even his bloodline would connect him to his father anymore.

• [ Warrior ]

Finally he was made a warrior, out of age more than anything. Sure, he had the ability he was great at hunting and fighting. Still, he voided his mentor at all costs and would never do what the leader or deputy asked. Ever. he refused their high ranks with all his heart and made that feeling very obvious.

So when he met a shecat that recognized him he was dumbfounded.

To find out she was the leader of another clan was even more surprising.

And when the flood happened he saved the lives of Willowclanners, knowing at least she would not be heart broken like she still was over his father. Like he was.

| Flood |

It was the twolegs that brought the surge of water, he was sure. it came out of no where, like a huge wave with seemingly no source and he was just one of many cats that was so easily sucked into its dark depths along with every branch, rock and really anything with life that crossed it's path. He remembers fighting for his every breath amidts the wave, where light would only come with the short bursts he had with his muzzle above the water, before being sucked back under. The light was his only sense of direction as it pulled and tugged at him from every side and sent him careeing in circles down it's dark path of destruction.

Life, as he knew it, was sucked away just like that.

| Long Journey Home |

He awoke on a place where the pebbles where so tiny that they where almost like mud in that paw sunk into them slightly. But it was dry, and warm and as his eyes painfully adjusted to the light he could see the tip of a lake that went on until it touched the sun as it was just coming up.

He could hardly believe he was alive, and as he got up, shaking and sore with his trembling paws barely holding him up, part of still expected Starclan warriors to show up any moment and tell him this was it. The only thing that argued that beleif was the pain all over and the ringing in his ears.

"A chance encounter planned by Starclan, Thrushflight have me something no one else had : self esteem. In my travels with him I came became close to him as a son is to his father. I know I'm not his son, Spiderstar's disrespected blood will always run through mine, but Thrushflight is the father I never had. I don't think anything will ever change that. His family is lucky to have him back and I am happy to have met him.
