Description This is inspired by *thezippyolive . A while back, she asked me to draw Montparnasse. Having always admired her artwork, I figured Montparnasse and Éponine would make a perfect couple for a mistletoe kiss!

Éponine's wearing her ÅST outfit again because I want this thing to look like series, so no weird costume changes halfway through. If I had had the choice, I'd probably gone for something a little more book-accurate, but not the London outfit. With Enjy's Red Vest of Revolution, it's among the things I've grown to dislike the most about the original production, for a reason I can't really put my finger on...
Montparnasse's stolen, I mean highest-form-of-flatteried, from *thezippyolive 's gallery, pretty much. Sorry. I've never drawn him before, I needed some inspiration...

As for this pairing... I don't really have an opinion about them. I think the Finnish translation has cut some of the few scenes they have - so I should finally read the unabridged English edition to be able to say anything.

Les Mis is not mine.

They both look very nice and very in-character and WHOA Montparnasse, getting a little eager there, aren't we? I love the little details like the stirrup pants, and the sole of Eponine's shoe coming off.

i don't mean to troll, but montparnasse's right arm is a bit to misproportionate in my weird eyes

True that! I was aiming for perspective and ended up with weird, as often happens...
But thanks!

Montparnasse, get your hands off there.

Don't really like them as a pairing, either, but Monty's a character worth having a bit of fun with. (Also, he's very pretty.)

The pc is awesome, but I have to say, I despise Montparnasse's character... (Mostly because of a roleplay I did with one of my friends where we shipped Enjolras and Eponine... And Montparnasse kept getting in the way...) XD Soo.. But, Awesome drawing!~ ^o^

In ÅST Montparnasse only has/had three short lines to Éponine which would roughly translate.
"Go home 'Ponine
go home!
you're preventing us." (actually stood "me" and not "us" in script but the actor always says "us".)
The last line makes a bit more sense in swedish I think, but I can't get it translated so it would mean the same thing.
I'm not sure if it's normal in les mis but one thing that would hint of relation or "feelings" (however you like to define), is when Mont' pulls Babet off her earlier in the scene. (Attack on the Rue Plumet)

Well, that's all about those two in ÅST's production.

Ooh, nice! I think I have to pay more attention to this scene the next time, I bet I haven't noticed half of the details yet!
But yeah, I think it's pretty common in different productions of Les Mis to hint to Montparnasse/Éponine somehow - the London production at the very least does, if I recall correctly.

I kind of like Montparnasse, actually. Sure, he's an awful person... But he's somehow a lot of fun too, with all that dandy clothing!

Ballerinamaiset minijalat on kivoja piirrettäviä!

Mul on joku kauhee aukko sivistyksessä! Viittisitkö valasta?

...mut ihana kuva XDD Paras ilme sillä kyl!

Haha, jes! Tämän kuuleminen ilahduttaa fania aina!
Hmm... Aluksi suosittelisin joko Tenth tai 25th Anniversary Concertin katsastamista - molempien pitäisi löytyä Youtubestakin, tosin pätkittynä ja ilman tekstejä. Jälkimmäistä ainakin on pyörinyt myös esmes Anttiloiden alelaareissa viime aikoina. Vaan eipä Kurjiinkaan tarttuminen huono idea ole, loistava kirja (mitä nyt vähän raskassoutuinen joskus, itsellä kesti pari kuukautta lukiessa... Mutta oli se sen arvoinenkin! )!

No joo, ehkä sun kuullunymmärtäminen on paremmalla tasolla kuin minun! Minulle kun vieläkin iskee englanninkielistä musikaalia ensi kertaa katsoessa reippaan pitkiä mitään-en-ymmärrä-mutta-kivalta-kuulostaa-kohtauksia...
