Never knew/realized that about the zoom and the difference it makes!

When you have a bigger tablet then you don't need to use a very big zoom but it helps in any way to get a better line quality and it is less exhausting for the eyes also.

It's always interesting to see how people set up their tools. Thanks for sharing!

That's quite nice and useful, thanks! All I need know is Photoshop, and a proper tablet.

Thank you , oh in Gimp there should be similar options for brush tools and that programm is for free use.
And I can just recommend getting a tablet also when you don't draw that much, it is better for the wrist joints if it just gets used instead of a mouse also.

Yes I have all these same options. But my brush menu doesn't like like that. I have CS3. It has little checks next to opacity and airbrush. Oh wait not not checks you just push them I think. I don't remember now.  Thank you for making this. Wow I think my problem is I'm not close enough. My lines look like crap because they are at 200%. I will try the closer views.

Oh then it will be more like mine from CS2, the airbrush setting should be off and the rest can be done in the brush presets, like in my picture here. Only Shape Dynamics and Smoothing should be checked and in Shape Dynamics the Size Jitter Control on Pen Pressure, all the rest should not be active. If the lines are not fully black (or the chosen color) sounds to me like there is Opacity put to Pen Pressure Control somewhere. But if you choose a standard pre-made brush tip from PS it should always work.
I think the wobbly lines thing should be easy to fix with working in bigger zoom, it is less exhausting for the eyes also.

I just made a screen cap fav.me/d6x6dd1 Yes I have pen pressure on and all the others are the same as they were default.  I will try zooming in and check opacity like you said but it is at 100%. I always use the top round brushes from 5-19 and if I need a bigger one I just type in the number. I only worry about not being able to see or know what part of the sketch I am on at so big but I will still try. Would be great if this solved the problem and sped up my art. Oh gosh that would be great.

Thanks very much. These options are very close to the standard ones and I just think this is the easiest way to work with PS when creating lines.
