Description A detailed shot of my Phoenix Mask , close up near the eye. I'm very proud of all the little details in this piece, but this photo seemed to capture a lot of them all in one, which is why I'm posting it.

Sorry for the huge file, but it's so worth it. Plus, I finally own a camera that exposes red decently *happy dance*

Did you use the texture spray paint on the beak? >.< It looks great!

Why thank you!

Actually, it was just regular spray enamel on the whole thing - the reason it looks especially textured is because of the Foss Shape - it naturally is that kind of weird, almost felt-like texture~

Foss Shape sounds so cool! It must have been fun to make!

It was quite a bit of fun - definitely something to try, if you ever get the chance Or, playing with WonderFlex, that stuff is fun, too, and a lot easier to work with...

From what I read, the difference between Foss Shape and Wonderflex is that Wonderflex does not keep it's shape as easily as Foss Shape, but they can both be heated multiple times to create the shape wanted, right?

Aww! Thankies!!

It was one hell of a project, that's for sure, but definitely worth putting the extra time into it Now, here's hoping that the instructor doesn't break it taking it home to look at it
