Description
Drew something depressing for Valentine's dayIt's like a really bad pun, but without the humor.
Also, I painted it with coffee. The redder bits are mashed up blackberries. You can see the time lapse here: [link]
...So yeah. I'm sorry I haven't been painting as much recently, but I am still alive.

It's less that she doesn't like me and more that she doesn't like me like that. If you know what I mean.
I should just get over it instead of posting sad art on the internet. It doesn't matter if I execute it well or not, painting stuff like this about other people is still pretty cowardly and backstabbing.

First of all, it is NEVER cowardly to face up to and express feelings that are hard to deal with, it is BRAVE. Secondly, it is not backstabbing at all. It is about the pain of unrequited love, not "This is the hag who doesn't like me; a pox on her!"
Negative emotions will always find some way of busting out of us. Some people rage, some drink, some complain, some take it out on the dog. You create beautiful art that inspires and uplifts others, validates their feelings and makes them realize they are not alone. Now would you rather keep doing that, or turn into a whiny raging dog-kicking alcoholic?

Very awesome! : D I always wanted to do a coffee painting, but when I tried it almost didn't color the paper at all... The coffee was probably too thin. xD
I also like the idea of using the berries. Reminds me of my childhood. I used to paint with all kinds of things I found outside. Berries, grass, tree bark...
Anyways. I really like this painting. :3 And I also enjoyed watching the time lapse.
