Great work. Is the coloring traditional painting or digital? Or maybe something like prismacolor? Has a kind of hand painted but vibrant look that is different from anything else I have seen.

Haha, it's just watercolors. They're the cheap kind designed for kindergarteners. I buy them at Office Depot :'D
I do use nice pens and inks for the lineart though. And I do my pages on watercolor paper, which is designed to support the paint and make the colors brighter. So maybe it's that?

Tea leaves don't spoil, Levi. Some Chinese tea can even last for a few hundred years. Like the ones found in an emperor's tomb (One of the archaeologists accidentally made tea with it thinking it was normal tea leaves and it tasted normal) Unless they get mouldy from dampness. But that's another story.

Levi just doesn't understand. He doesn't believe you or your archaeologist stories. What is archaeology anyway? What is China? What are YOU?
That's pretty cool though :^D

Also, there are some types of tea that are supposed to age. They're similar to wine. They're called pu'erh teas. Sometimes called living teas, they develop with age, changing flavour and texture (as far as smoothness of the tea goes) as it grows older. They're incredibly difficult teas to process and, so I'm told, are one of the fullest and richest tasting types of tea you will ever come across.
