Background: Drei is a homunculus created by Xander. Drei was a concept brought up to Xander by Erika, who still had a close business relationship with him and knew about human experimentation more than he did.. Drei’s concept was one that involved trying to mix different elemental skills and magic into one body, allowing the produced homunculus mastery over different elements. It would take exceptionally long for a normal human to learn mastery over multiple elements, let alone one, but this concept would grant Xander a servant with the ability to use all three, an asset he deemed invaluable. He had used one of the researchers at his academy, Cronus, as a means of learning more about how to put this concept, knowing that Cronus himself was a homunculus that also had use over multiple elements thanks to his composition. Of course, Cronus not only had no idea of Xander’s true intentions behind such research, but on the other hand, Xander also had no idea that Cronus was technically incomplete; he may have had control over multiple elements, but his use over them was quite weak comparatively. Unlike Cronus, however, Xander’s own homunculus was a success… somewhat.

Drei had mastery of Fire, Light, and Dark magic all at once, and appeared to remain mostly stable. However, Xander discovered Drei was not without one major issue. Depending on the type of magic Drei would use, his personality would change, making him very unpredictable and almost wild. Xander viewed the personality changing that Drei had as a major flaw and viewed his project as a failure. Drei would have been killed if not for Niko stepping in and stopping him. She primarily wanted to keep him from spilling more unnecessary blood, but to keep her cover up, Niko convinced killing Drei, despite his flaw, would be a waste of money and resources, and he could still be useful to him. Xander reluctantly accepts his failure, assigning him as one of his personal guards posing as a student. Naturally, as Drei was created for a singular purpose, he doesn’t believe he has anywhere else to go other than stay close to Xander, despite his own feelings towards his “father”. He was then named ‘Drei’, in relation to his multiple personalities, and his

Personality: Drei is more withdrawn and quiet, but also very dead set on orders given to him by Xander or his fellow guards. Drei is not one to mince words and is very blunt in his interactions with others. He is also fiercely competitive and does not like losing against others. Despite his loyalty and attachment to Xander, viewing him as his father, the two do not have a good relationship; Drei secretly loathes Xander yet feels reliant on him and harbors a desire to impress him, whereas Xander still deems him a failure. Drei has a good relationship with Niko, as she is the only reason he’s still alive. As mentioned previously, Drei’s personalities change when he uses his different magic; Light is his default, Fire makes him become more malevolent and violent, while Dark makes him become almost feral.

Abilities: Of all of Xander’s guards, Drei is physically the most weak, mainly in part to an unstable composition, and his younger age. However, he is not by any means the weakest, as he still possesses an incredible magic potential and use over three different elements, with deadly proficiency with all three. Light is his primary element, and he uses it to create weapons for him to use, namely swords and spears. The swords he wields personally, while the spears he summons as projectiles. He can also summon swords around him as a protective shield. His Fire magic allows him control over fire and use of various pyromancy skills, whereas his Dark magic allows him use of necromancy and petrification.
