(Don't ask how many hours it took, let's just suffice to say pretty much all Saturday! Whoo!)

The Chair took the longest!

(Nov. 28, 2008) EDIT: I colored it in ArtRage! Yay! Whatever madness possesed me to do it, it took me over five hours to color.

My Birthday Present for my friend Aran! Happy Birthday Aran!

Finarfin Arafinwë. Son of Finwë and Indis. Brother of Fingolfin, and half brother of Fëanor. Married Eärwen and had four children: Finrod Felagund, Angrod, Aegnor and Galadriel. Apparently Oredreth is Angrod's son though in the older Silmarillion he was Finarfin's.

"Finarfin was the fairest, and the most wise of heart; and afterwards he was a friend of the sons of Olwë, lord of the Teleri, and had to wife Eärwen, the swan-maiden of Alqualondë, Olwë's daughter." (The Silmarillion, Chapter 5 "Of Eldamar and the Princes of the Eldalië")

He and the rest of his line had golden hair because of his fair-haired mother Indis, and Galadriel was the most "beautiful of all the house of Finwë..."

Also when Fëanor was trying to get the elves to forskae the Valar, Finarfin spoke against it, and after the Doom of Mandos was spoken against the Exiled Noldor, Finarfin repented and became King of the Elves in Tirion; though all his children left for Middle-Earth.

At at the end of The Silmarillion, along with the forces of the Valar, Finarfin led the elves in the War of Wrath which finally defeated Morgoth.
