I've been watching Saludos Amigos/Three Caballeros clips on YouTube all week. A lot of women and even a few men in the comments admit to having a crush on José Carioca, he is unusually magnetic. Just a gregarious green parrot with an accent yet he seizes your attention in whatever scene he's in. What is it about anthropomorphic Brazilian birds? When the Rio movies were still fresh I remember there being a big Nigel craze that swept DA, too. And Xalvador? More like Savoirfairedor. He could charm the pentagons off a socc-- uh, football.

Xalvador: "Aha, you caught yourself! Boa garota. Once again the brigadeiro works it's magic."

What are you talking about?

Xalvador: "You never noticed, did you senhorita? Every time you have called it futebol instead of soccer, I have given you a brigadeiro."
