Description
A cheaper easier to use rifle that any bull-pup like the M65A2 can't achieve. the rifle uses the standard magazine used by the M65A2 . The bolt is designed specifically for use in the original piston operated platform unlike the older M6A2LWRC that adapted an AR15 platform this makes it slightly lighter weight. The rate of fire is 700 rounds a minute and fires either the 6.5x39mm Grendel round as the standard ECF or any range of ammo from dated 5.56x45 to 6.8SPC rounds. The naval infantry of the ECF use the bull-pup design M65 as it can function well in CQC as well as conventional warfare. However many planets want an equal weapon but at lower cost. The M56 meets that requirement and in some ways the Naval Infantry are envious of Defense forces as the M56 is much easier to disassemble and clear breaches. While the M65A2 was designed with the goal of maximizing killing potential in all environments this rifle was meant to be good enough for any task used by anyone in a bind. The rifle is also more popular with civilian markets.
Well my first non AR15 sort of looks like a Magpul or ACR while also looking AR15 like think of this as the poor man's M65A2. Less moving parts lighter weight and okay in CQC work for infantry with less cross training. thanks for the parts Spare-15
