Description
Greater ratpig
Scientific name: Pachyrattus porcus
Other names: none
Ancestor: Brown rat
Diet: Grass, roots, leaves
Habitat and range: European woodlands and plains
Roughly the size of a small cow, the Greater Ratpig uses its incisors to dig up roots, like its tusked cousin. There is not a whole lot to saw about these animals other than they are a staple herbivore in European ecosystems. Honestly, they're a pretty run-of-the-mill large herbivore.
