Marten was sure in a hopping mood when I had him out with Danny the other day. He did his little dance to just about everything that might had accidentally touched him, or if I was to pet him or stop him from doing something. lol.But at least I had the camera with me to catch about 20 awesome pictures of Marten in the air. lol. This was one of my favs.

They are such crazy animals. LOL. I used to have 5. (Had two and rescued three) I thought I would die every time they were out they are just so funny. My two now just discovered that going under a cardboard box and chancing the other one around the room is a lot of fun. I cant stop laughing every time they get going with that. They sure can brighten up your day just watching them play.

Hahaha! He looks just like my ferret Kyba! She has the same white body and dark tail. She was a Stripe as a kit but lightened dramatically as she grew. Now she's five and only dark on her tail.
It's awesome how you caught him jumping like that! I know how hard it is to get a good picture of a ferret!

LOL. There is 1000 other ones that sucked I will tell you that. I just went and sat down and started takeing pictures of him one day that he was really playfull and got this one and was so amazed and happy with it I had to share. Like I said though I have tons but this was just the best one so it was put up.

LOL. He is so funny. His younger brother Danny is more calm and relaxed compared to him. He has his times but it takes a lot to get him going. Where as Marten, he just has huge emotions. If he is happy he is REALLY happy. If he is angry he is REALLY angry. He is so dramatic, he could be in movies. If you don't see him when he makes his entrance into a room he will go back and do it again, almost always the same way till you notice him. It is funny. (He also has a litter box ritual where he must walk backwards while digging around the inside of the litter box. Poor Danny always has to go to the bathroom when there is new litter but Marten has to do his dance first and will even push him out of the way if Danny manages to make it into the litter box. I have a video of his little letterbox dance I will have to find it. It is not long but it is funny.)

*lol* I'm sure it's funny. Pets can be so amusing! When I still had my two gerbils Natty & Nosey (1999-2002), they had some "rituals" like that, too, e.g. when I gave them both exact the same kind of food (like a peanut for both of them), Natty would drop her peanut, go over to Nosey and squeak at her, as if she wanted to say: "Give me yours!" Nosey would then run around in the cage to get away from her and eat her peanut, but Natty would always follow her and squeak at her again, trying to get her peanut. Oh, I miss them so much, I loved them!
