Description Taken at the Akron Dog Park (Cascade Valley Park) - Akron, OH

Going to any dog park will be a two-person job for me because I need my husband to be there for Emma while I play with and photograph everyone's dogs. Okay, so I'll preface this with I wanted to dognap Tucker the Samoyed. He was friendly, the dog park welcomer and how cute is he???? And of course while taking photos of Emma running around, I would sometimes look at the photos in my camera and see I'd actually caught Tucker running.

Samoyeds are a working breed with ancient heritage going back to Siberia when they used to accompany hunters and fishers on their trips, curling up next to their owners to help keep them warm during the cold night. Now they just make me squee when I see them.

LOL Oh that's not Emma, this was just a Samoyed at the dog park...and he was much smaller than her! She's probably about the size of Wotan and Wolfgang now!

LOL yes! We just weighed her last week and she weighed in at a big 87 pounds! And she's so tall that when I "ride" her, I have to be on my tip-toes because her back is so high. And I think she still has two months of growing!!!

Thank you! And I can tell you that having a dog is like having a baby...only it'll never really grow up and move out of the house. LOL Ahhh, I shouldn't say that, I do love Emma, even when she's being a brat!

Nice-looking dog and nice photo... they are lovable, and (aside from grooming and the need to be around people) one of the easiest to live with of the spitz-type breeds, along with the Keeshond, German Spitz and American Eskimo Dog...

Thank you! I really did love Tucker and that he was at the gate every time a new dog came in to make sure they were ok to come in.
