I love it when people illustrate these "small" moments, and you certainly did that well. I really like the way you draw their facial features in this style, and the simple colouring combined with the more complicated brushwork. They create a wonderful atmosphere!

Oh, well, basically the same thing! Our teacher used to say that brushpen's just a portable version of a brush and some ink <3 (I just never got used to them because sipping the brush in the ink-bottle is so annoying)

yeah totally- some people make a big distinction but as long as you have a legit brushpen it's basically the same.
you should try a brushpen if you don't like the dip situation- pentell makes REALLY nice ones!

I've had several brushpens during the years but they always somehow misplace themselves.. they're also so expensive so I've given up on purchasing them orz
