ITS FINALLY DONE!!!!!! ......well almost. It's done enough to show it, but not done enough to sell it. This cabinet has been the source of all of my stress and sleep loss for the past 3 months. And it was worth every moment of it. It stands about 6 feet tall 28" wide at its widest part, and 12" deep (the top piece is 14" deep)I still have no idea what to call it, I need suggestions!
Better pictures to come when it's finished and get some time in the photography studio.
Materials: Luan plywood, baltic birch plywood, wiggle board, quilted makore veneer, cherry veneer, black walnut solid and veneer, custom cut plate glass, electrical components, and assorted hardware.

As for names... Kinda has this surreal Alice in Wonderland kind of look... The Cheshire? Top is the smile, bottom is the tail.

thanks! lol i'm glad you see that in it, the original designs were inspired by alice and wonderland and tim burton. I really like cheshire as a name for it, but then i looked it up in the dictionary and it also means "a hard yellow English cheese made from cow's milk" lol. thanks for the fav aswell!!

lol, it almost balances. the bottom is weight bearing, and there are 2 screws underneath each shelf to anchor it to the wall and that stabalizes it. its pretty sturdy. thanks!!

lol my original design included an inner metal frame welded to a thin metal base, so it could stand on its own. i wish i had the time for that. thanks!
