I have read in some comments that is not in equilibrium but have you ever thought about making one that can stand similar to this one? If you make the right calculation of weight distribution and a large enough base it could swing in the wind...or it should, in each case would be even more amazing

Thanks! Actually yeah, my original idea included a metal inner skeleton attatched to a thin metal base. So in essence, it would stand on it's own.

Well normally it would be mounted to the wall, in this pic I have it tied to the ceiling for balance. It's fun to show people this and convince them that it actually balances and can be free standing in their home. lol
