Fury did not stop. He ran aimlessly, not really knowing where he was going or why. All he knew was that he wanted to be away from her. Away from that persistent little filly, Enigma. He didn't know what to do anymore. The quiet hidden valley that he sought to escape the agonizing pains of his past was now filled with thoughts and dreams of not only his Beloved, but also Enigma. It was all so confusing and frustrating to him. Anytime he thought of one, he would begin to think of the other. Enigma is right, Fury thought, I truly am heartless. I stole the heart of my Beloved's, and so I stole her life. My heart is dead!

These maddening thoughts drove Fury further and higher. He climbed high into the freezing snowy mountains. He began to slow down but refused to stop. His metal, exposed to the frigid air, grew icy cold. He was going numb all over his body as his metal caused his body temperature to drop quickly. Not only was he cold, but he was also exhausted, angry, and confused. He was stumbling along the treacherous cliff-side trail. As he stepped to close to the edge, the thin rocky ledge cracked under his weight. As he felt himself falling, he stumbled and corrected himself, falling back onto the trail. Numb and beat, Fury could not find the energy or will to stand. He laid there in the blizzard and snow as his mind drifted into darkness.
