Winter has come

Time flew by as Talli sat.... waiting....hoping...longing to leave... Her eyes beginning to grow heavy after she had cried for so long.
Her attempts to stay awake were failing..... until
"RUDY!!"
Rudy!? Rudy was here?!
Talli pushed herself up off the floor and began darting for the door her heart racing with the hope that he was coming for her, that she could leave soon.
Her feet patted across the floor,and the broken bell on her neck shook violently as she moved, silent as the sickly air about her, but she couldn't tell just how oddly silent it was considering Rudy's mention until she approached the door and begen slowing her pace. It was weird, but the concern didn't sink in until she stepped outside.
"R-"
She began before coming to a halt.
Her jaw dropped and tears streamed down her face.
Before her was the most horrible sight her eyes had ever beheld.
Alma held Rudy in her arms, a dark liquid oozing from his body.
He looked so weak...so helpless....
Talli's breaths grew faster and faster. She wheezed and sobbed as she choked on the panicked tears and breath.
"GET BACK INSIDE"
Alma shouted through her own tears to the wyngling, but Talli seemed almost frozen.
She wanted to move.
She wanted to do SOMETHING..... ANYTHING
But she couldn't move....she couldn't even speak
All she could do was stare at Rudy's weak body and listen to the echoing words in her mind.
This is YOUR fault
YOU did this
You are BROKEN
CURSED
YOU
HURT
THEM
YOU MONSTER
At first they were soft, accompanied by a humming, but they grew louder and louder as she stood there, screaming over each other, none seeming to want to wait their turn as the hum grew into a screaming ringing in her head.
GO BACK INSIDE!!
The voice of Alma broke through her thoughts just barely, and Talli's body began to tremble.
She darted into the building and up the stairs to the highest floor of the building, making her way into a room as far away from the front door as she could possibly get.
She didn't know or care who's room this was, the echoes in her head were too loud for her to care. She lept into one of the beds, covering her head with a pillow shoving the sides of it over her ears in hopes to make it stop.
When that didn't stop it, she began humming, her voice growing louder and louder before humming wasn't enough and she began yelling.
Louder and louder....
Until it stopped....
The screaming faded, from her mouth and her mind as she negan taking shaky breaths, her eyes growing heavy again.
This time she couldn't fight off sleep though... And she fell into the darkness behind her eyelids.
