I know, fishing for votes, scandalous right? Well, unfortunately you are encouraged to do so for this contest. The contest is put on by the good folks of Consumer Reports, and asked people to illustrate the dangers of debt. This is my entry, and took over a week of concepts and painting to complete, so I definitely, definitely appreciate any votes! The contest winner will receive a cash prize (do I hear rent and grocery money?), and a subscription to Consumer Reports. Anyone is allowed to vote, and you can put in one vote a day until Feb 28th.
Please feel free to ask about my personal views on the picture, though you are welcome to interpret it any way you choose.

That is really good! I love how you coloured it and all those details. The dudes remind me of hermit crabs btw. XD I like how you interpreted the concept. Voted. o.o oh, and the man in the front is kinda scary. lol

Thanks so much Kit. I tried to evoke a feeling of crabs with them, because crabs sidle sideways, giving the impression that they don't look where they are headed.
