Were-hippo was furious. He had come to Hollywood to make movies, but found that "hippos need not apply". Only were-wolves and a number of were-cats were alowed to star in the films. Didn't they know how many people he killed in Africa every year? Disheartened, he was about to head home but was suddenly offered a job. He showed up on the set only to have the crew dress him in feathers and Native American garb. He explained that he was from Africa, not America, but the producers just shrugged and pointed to the ratings chart. Crushed, were-hippo returned home and was too depressed to eat anyone for weeks.Related content

LOL! It's so true..hippos are waaay deadly dangerous...more so than MOST predators! And they eat meat too...including other dead hippos, which is just too disgusting.
Great job on this guy...he looks really scary. If hippos reared up like that in RL, maybe more people would take 'em seriously!

First, props for drawing a were-hippo. Second, that bio was GREAT.
Nice graphite work! I always end up with finger smudges all over my graphite art, so I admire anyone who can handle the stuff.

After leaving several ooky smudges on his body, I glanced at a kleenex box I had nearby and thought, "I wonder...?" If you take a kleenex and rub it over the finger smudges, it helps smooth them out.

I love it! The bio is great. Hippos are in fact very dangerous, accountable for more human deaths than any mammal in Africa, except for Lions. Those producers are lucky the were-hippo didn't open a can of whoop-arse on them!
The face is the best. The eye expression really makes it. I love the detail on the muzzle,too

Yup, they kill more people there then crocs do if I remember correctly! Still, I can't help but love these guys. They are so interesting...even if they do fling their dung around with their tails.
