Description
The Tau Imperium maintains a large highly mobile force of Imperial Guard to act as the Heavy Striking fast reaction arm of the Fleet. This force is under the direct command of the Empress and the High command and does not need senate approval to be deployed.

In addition to it's reaction force duties it defends and escorts Imperia emissaries and diplomats, as well as the Empress and her family at all times. This Block IV Syrti is painted in the standard Force Imperial Guard colors and is deployed aboard the Light Carrier H'niin K'mahda.
The H'niin K'mahda is part of a dedicated fast response task force tasked with defending frontier worlds and suppressing raiders, pirates in those distant regions of the imperium. Aboard the flagship a dedicated team of Battle witches maintain a constant watch for signs of trouble and advise on deployment and tactics as needed byt eh task group commander.

the block IV Syrtii has added a more modern cockpit, and advanced life saving pod system to the standard spaceframe of the Syrtii and a more effective pilot assist system that fully integrates Pilot/AI/Onboard Sensors, through a direct neural feed/ Virtual cockpit system only used by TAE and Valkiir combat pilots.
Currently the Block IV is ONLY issued to Imperial Guard and hearth Guard Elite squadrons while older Block II models are being retrofitted to Block IV standard.
