Description This is Day 6 based on the prompt list I put together that can be found here ---> fav.me/dco6lyh

It's one of my top 3 favorite horror short stories, "The Willows" by Algernon Blackwood, which has some of the trippiest entities you'll ever encounter in literature.  Though they exist mostly unseen in another dimension, I've sought to depict what they might look like if one were able to pierce the veil and glimpse into their world.  I envision them almost as living tuning forks or antennae towers that triangulate on a particular area, oscillating to a specific frequency that alters the fabric of space-time in that area to create a sort of "weak spot" or "thin spot" between dimensions that allows them to step into our world.

Listening to: "Echoes" by Pink Floyd

Man this is such a great story, and your interpretation really captures the strangeness of the entities involved! Blackwood knew how to use prose to inspire awe, and your work here definitely reflects that

Thanks, I really appreciate that! It is a great, great tale, and it's made my day that you feel I've done it justice and have captured the strangeness of the Willow beings!

Thank you very much, I really appreciate it! And if in case you haven't read the tale, it is available to read for free on the Project Gutenberg site.

No problem! It's a little slow at the start but the build-up is superb IMO.

Okay, now I need to read that story.

Also, Pink Floyd is the perfect soundtrack for drawing living antennae towers
