I swear, this is the last one for Design class.This is sort of a crappy picture, really quickly done and rather sloppy, but I kind of like it that way.
It's of a Phoenix, obviously, and it'd done half in warm grey and half in cool greys, but all of it is 100% marker. The top black portion is actually straigh, the paper is just a bit warped so it looks a tad wonky. Anyways, Phoenix, lots of symbolism. I was born in Phoenix, AZ, plus I was born in the year of the Dragon, which in Chinese lore is a very lucky combination. And no, that's not some fairy tale bull, it's true. I'm a very lucky person.

Heheh, it's really neat to see the two greys side by side like that, it sort of has a pink and blue look, that they don't have when seperated. The feather detail is very nice in this, and the overall design is very eye-catching. I like it

I love how the phoenix overlaps the borders, its always more interesting when people make pictures that way.
And the balance between the cool grey and warm grey makes for all the better.

Yeah, I liked that concept too. I kind of goofed up on the right side of the phoenix, the wing didn't overlap the black border on the inside enought...

Wow, I ... seriously love this the best out of all the ones you've posted today. I really looks like computer grahics and 3-D to me. I think that you choose colours other than red is what impresses me the most. Red seems to be ther sterotypical colour for a phoenix because it's the bird of fire. But, there are several different kinds of fire such as the fire of the soul, said to be blue. And the wings are just GOREGOUS (hope that's spelt right, English bad, Lol. :>

Actually, this only took a few hours to do, as I was running late on this project and I kind of threw it together last minute, which I shouldn't have done... If I'd had more tim to work at it, I think it could have been loads better!

I totally love it when people like you come around and say, "Hey, look at it this way, here's what I see in it!" and then it just makes you really look the piece over and think, "hey yeah, that person's right!". It's not often that it happens, but I love it when it does.
