OPERATION GALACTIC STORM part 21:
While both the Kree and Shi’ar Peace Envoy Avengers teams are both doing their jobs just so, so terribly, the Supreme Intelligence has been busy with his various evil schemes.
As he plots against all other parties involved in this war, he also has been gathering his own special team. He’s super bad at naming stuff, though. So the team is named “Starforce.” This is only step up from “Space Guys” or ‘Team Team.” Greatest minds in the entire Kree Empire went into making the Supreme Intelligence, and they could get one guy good at words. Typical evil alien empire.
Anyway, after recruiting Shatterax, Korath the Pursuer, and joining up himself using his Supremor android avatar, a fourth member was recruited.
Once known on Earth as The Demon Druid, The Supreme Intelligence let this very blue fella know his origins lay with the Kree. Not only was he actually a Kree named And-Can, but he was also a Kree Eternal! Eternals are powerful, immortal beings that the mysterious Celestials engineered out of sentient life on many worlds, as they did on Earth.
Taking the name Ultimus, he added massive power to the team. Super strong and fast, nearly invulnerable, able to fly and manipulate energy defensively and offensively, Ultimus was a real powerhouse. Terrible dresser, though. It’s hard for a giant, musclebound blue alien god to be taken seriously when he wears a Rainbow Brite supporting character onesie into battle.
