I've been ripping off the Monkey Island style of cloud drawing for so long I figured it's about time that I finally did some fan-art. This strapping fellow here is Stan. I love Stan, he's such a goofy character. I gotta say that my favorite manifestation of Stan was in the second one though, where he's a used coffin salesman.Anyway, this one is for all the Monkey Island fans out there. UNITE!
By the way, I found an old picture I drew of Guybrush and LeChuck about a year ago that I was going to clean up and submit too. You could probably expect that soon.

Thank ya much. I've actually seen some pretty impressive Monkey Island art on other sites too. I figure we just need to drown the world with fanart until the bastards at Lucasarts get up off their asses and make a game to occupy our time.

I've seen so many MI fans on here. It just seems stupid that they haven't made another game. I've been telling people that we need to organize and take over Lucasarts and force all the programmers to start making cool adventure games again.

Nah, Stan didn't have a gold tooth in the game. Creative Liscence. I just thought that he SHOULD have a gold tooth. It seemed fitting.
Hey, I'd love to see your take on the MI characters as well. I LOVE those games. I don't know if "freak" even begins to describe my love of those games (the first three anyway).

Yeah, the 3D version was a downside. I struggled with the key option for longer than necessary in the beginning. And it wasn't as funny. Personally loved the third one the best. I gotta stop feeding my ass and get creative again. I've never done Fanart, mind you. So the first one would be very very weird.

Aside from the controls of the new Monkey Island, my biggest problem was the distressing lack of Murray.
The idea of you doing a Monkey Island fan art fascinates me. I'm not trying to pressure you into doing one, but that would be really interesting.

Nah, Monkey Island isn't a show. It's an old video game series about a guy that wants to be a pirate. It's brilliant! The first one came out clear back in 1990.
