Could be....the image I worked from was about that time, maybe a little later like his turn in the Twilight Zone. I don't remember if the shot I used for reference had a specific movie but it was good enough for me to make the drawing

I didn't match it to a frame or anything, but it immediately reminded
me of the matchbook scene. I love that movie so I'm going with it
