Seriously, I don't get why some people are all up in your face about what you should think and say from only a political mindset.
It's the same thing every single time: they want to talk and talk and talk about making the economy better but NEITHER side wants to make any the sacrifices in order to fix things properly. Instead, they gotta focus on publicity, victory and pleasing people to get a vote. You would think that political officials and those who indulge their lives into it would behave like adults, but I find that it's often not so.

This is not saying that politics are not interesting. My american government teacher, he's been involved with my states government, and I gotta say, he's so awesome! He makes politics interesting and understandable, with no bull-crap or biased information. I can't wait to learn more from him.

In my personal opinion, people get caught up in political mindsets about religion, marriage, abortion, and all that jazz, and they keep missing the important points that could solve the situation if everyone was just willing to give up a little bit of their freedom and patriotic pride. Everything suddenly becomes dramatic, complicated, and biased, and people shun people for their ideology.

I think it's important to understand and know politics, but I don't believe everyone has to indulge in it to where it becomes their whole life and everything in it is based/solved on concept and not common sense.
