Quite a nice mix! The flapping wings wiuth all those coils and gears and strinbgs is true fascinating, a leonbardo da Vonci look. But the fuselage reminds the old aicrafts , and the cockpit part is like the Flash Gordon (the old movie theater serials, from 1936) spaceships

I borrowed some of the principles of da Vinci, but thankfully the propulsion is machine-powered and not reliant on how hard the pilot flaps their arms.

Anyway, The amount of detail you added in you steam powered flying machine is quite fantastic. It would be fun to have a small tinker-toy version of it in one's table.
