Ingris Bergman, actress of the 1940s. A very beautiful person, with wonderful eyes.
I'm very pleased with this pic, and I might do another pic of her in the future.

I found the drawing simply amazing..;as everything in your gallery I have seen so far.
Strangely enough, I don't think it looks like Ingrid. When I look at the details, I see you have grasped her face, but I think this is not it yet. Maybe the jaw line is larger than hers, which was quite wide, but very delicate anyways. This is maybe not your best, but amazing just like the others

I agree with you- I am not at all happy with this picture. I think she is very hard to capture, because, as it happens, I am drawing her again right now, and I'm having the same problem, although not to so great a degree. Oh well, since this is another ancient drawing, I'm not too bothered with it any more. But I am very glad you like it!

You did a good job capturing the expression, maybe a little to heavy shadows, but overall good job, seems lika you put alot of effort into it

ah, yes the contrasts are great, i usually don't have the will to finish anything like what you have done, so it's pretty impressive by my standards

Maltese falcon? She was with Humphrey Bogart in Casablanca, but I haven't seen it. I just *know* that it will make me cry- and that is not a good thing.
I've got her in "Spellbound" with Gregory Peck and "Notorious" with Carey Grant...... After seeing both of those, I just *Had* to draw her!

No...this was done in the holidays...and I didn't see anyone AT ALL that week, so no one saw it being done....'cept me.... The hair was HARD, so thick and fluffy....I am used to hair spray (for girls) and brilliantine (for men)...fluffy was...different, to say the least.

Thanks so much. Ingrid Bergman has lovely clear eyes, and she never wore much mascara, so they were particularly different, and fun, to draw!
