Really nice work. It has the perfect balance between real-world imagery and digital imaging, to give it a far more "real" sense of realism, if you get what I mean.

First of all I just have to say, good luck to another great piece.
I like the idea with using the cityscape, any idea where you got it from? Glad that the image itself is big, which means that it's loaded of details. Which this is.
The high contrast between the blue-white and the black in the cityscape is just a fantastic solution. Better than just a simple... boring view of some old city.
Then, the big planet appears and adds just another perfection to the picture, grace and power. The lightning that comes up from the clouds hits the planet perfect and the area that has been lit up is nice. Someway a combination between Africa and Antarctica. That bolt, who strucks the biggest planet is tremendously detailed and believable.
The other one that hits the skyscrape is just as perfect as the other one; you could always think that the skyscrapes were a headquarter, a lightning conductor.
That big nebula is simply beautiful, can be a strange thundercloud maybe? Darkens the whole image. Oh, and if I forgot, great texturizing at those planets.
Almost makes me wonders, what lurks inside of it, behind it. Then the starfield which once again is perfect, no faults with that.
Too bad that my english sucks; if not I could've filled a page with constructive criticism.
Nicely done man.
Nonsense.

well, it being bigger and inside a frame definately gives it a better feeling of composition. however, with there being more space in the aky above the city, it makes the planet look like its being opasted behind the towers even more. the brushing tho definately looks a lot better as there is more of it and its more feathery. the brushing i like the best, and the planet texture, awesome.

I think you have toned down the levels of the cityscape too much. It has created a few jaggies near the top of the buildings. The nebula used as a cloud pattern is a nice idea, but as others have noted, the lightning streaks between the nebula and cityscape looks unrealistic.
An interesting idea. It would've been much better if you spent some more time on it. ^_^

Awesome idea, i really wish my brain was engaged lately. I've got upcoming collabs and need to add inspiration to my gallery and yet nothing.
The lighting needs work. The left one doesn't need that faint blue noise in it, also the right one has solid blue crusty outsides, the end of the bolt is very brushed and doesn't fit.
I'm very interested in knowing where you got this picture. It could prove useful for a piece i'm working on with dkf right now.

Front row seats to the end of the world. How much are tickets?
Like the concept. Like even better the way you've presented it.
