A thank you gift for the super awesome and wonderfully sweet'Flower' (which is not her real name. I know it, but I'm not allowed to tell you, though I am allowed to tease you guys with the fact that I do know
) Hawke has been so much fun to work on 
Although I did draw her like six times before I finally settled on this picture. Still, I had a lot of fun. Hawke's story can be found here: Through the Fade. If you get the chance, you really should read it. Perahn is an amazing writer.

Ooh, you've done that brilliant 3-D effect in the spell. And she's gorgeous. I love that skin tone and her incredibly intense eyes. So lovely. And would that be Kirkwall burning in the background?

ahaha, actually, its supposed to be a sunset. Hawke is relaxing near an overhang and is playing around with her magic while someone (probably Fenris) makes a sassy comment that makes her laugh. If I were better at backgrounds that probably would have been more obvious

I swear, anytime you mention anything about colors it makes me squeal like a kid. B/c you're like the cmda master of color and movement.
The flower was actually Perahn's idea. I had sent her an update and there was something about it that was bugging me, and she instantly said, 'She needs a flower in her hair!' And I was like 'omg that's it!'

ahaha, I'm sorry. that's a lie, I'm not that sorry XD That was one of the first things I asked her when she said I couldn't tell. I was like '...fine, I'll keep the secret. But can I at least tease everyone else about it?' and she said yes. B/c I think Perahn might be secretly evil. You know, she comes off as so sweet and innocent, but I think that might be a ruse

Wow... just wow. She's absolutely stunning. From her gorgeous eyes, the flower in her hair, the patterned bodice, her magic, the twists of the curls in her hair... I can't stop staring at this. One of my all-time favourites of yours. No question.

Yes, I've been practicing anatomy! I'm glad the hands work, b/c I always have a difficult time with them. And yes, the background and magic are 3d; I found an awesome tutorial that talks about how to move the channels around after saving the image as a jpeg or png.
Also, would you mind telling Bannon to work with me? Now that I've finished Perahn's picture I'm trying to get through the xmas list, and Bannon's up. The problem is that he is being very difficult for me -.- I swear, the last picture I had.. I thought he looked pretty awesome until I scanned him in and realized he looked like an evil overlord. <.<
And since I have no idea what I can tempt him with, I figured I'd come to you with a plea ;.;

Seika, she's just so gorgeous. I love every single itty detail - from those luminous eyes to her hair and the pretty teal shirt and her flare of magic. The warmth of the background is such a lovely contrast to the teal and so perfect against her skin - and those mountains came out beautifully. Do I spot a little recurrence of the 3D-ness?
You have no idea how difficult it was to type something that articulate and free of exclamation marks when I'm squeeing so hard.
