Well, he's supposedly an omnipotent being, so he's got the power to stop anything from happening, right? Theoretically, this is.

Why would he let things like famine, natural disasters, disease, etc. happen to innocent people when he could easily step in and be like "Hey, here you go, no more cancer!"? And even he lets stuff happen to "test" innocent people, that's kind of just sick and wrong. From comparing real life to my education of what God is in the Catholic school system I could pretty much infer that it doesn't exist.
