Description From left to right: Dorian Gray (Picture of Dorian Gray), Edward Hyde (The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde), Helen Vaughan (The Great God Pan) and Count Dracula (Dracula).

Being sassy and fabulous.

I imagine Dorian as something between an obnoxious puppy and a calloused psychopath. Also, since he's technically immortal, not even the fierce Mr. Hyde wants to deal with him - after all, what's the fun in breaking that pretty little nose if in the end your knuckles hurt but the guy's face is still flawless. Helen keeps a close eye (and hand) on Hyde (they're totally bffs) while conversing with His Excellency, who has seen it all, done it all, killed it all, and now needs to spend some time away from his three drop-dead-gorgeous brides.

Fan squee! Oh, too much goodness in a small space...my brain will explode! I them all! I can't choose a fave *cries*. How is Hyde managing to look cute? I just love the way he's eyeing Dorian with deep suspicion and Dorian's just all chilled out (it's the opium I tell you!). And Dracula's tie pin

Ah, it's the league of extraordinary evil!

I have another name for these guys, but it is not my place to call them by it.

Also - YES, somebody noticed Dracula's pin!

Made my day.

Dracula is spot on how I thought he'd look, absolutely classy and powerful!
...and Hyde as if someone pulled him out of a trash can. Hell, he probably HAS all of it from a trash can. Apart from the scarf, that's a
universal item.xD

Also, I think you got the personalities really good on paper. Okay, okay, noticed all remember all.xP

*throws confetti in the air*

I bet Helen bought him that scarf during her shopping spree.

Dracula is probably going to be one of those 'guest stars' - he's too cool to stay permanently around these losers, but he might drop by from time to time, to catch up with Helen and be mildly entertained by the others' antics.

Hokova In reply to dark-precipice [2013-04-23 08:02:32 +0000 UTC]

Probably. Bet she forgot about the one under her bed.xD

Or they can hear about the Count in newspaper. He's one of those radicals that go unnoticed apart from strange clues all around.

dark-precipice In reply to Hokova [2013-04-23 08:08:41 +0000 UTC]

Or the one under her bed got far too ratty even for Hyde.

I am totally gonna write this sequel, just so that I can give these guys the attention they deserve. And it'll be a series of one-shots, with only a little bit of plot, nothing big, nothing as twisted as this one.

XD

Just a little bit of plot, nothing big, nothing as twisted, the only missing piece was 'not at all' . Though that just might be my paranoia. One gets that around you.xP

Eheheh, but no, really, TLAB started as a series of funny one-shots, but then the plot surfaced and I knew I just had to do the impossible - make sense in a crack fanfiction.

You've done the impossible...so you're going to just pour in hijinks in this one?
Fine by me!

*is torn whether to play "Putting on the Ritz" or "Toccata and Fugue in D Minor" to accompany the peice*

.....

*goes for broke and settles on "Tutti Frutti" by Little Richard*

I like it alot, I concur with Ms. La Gatta on Helen's Height and the Count came out much different than I was thinking, but infinitely more dignified in my opinion.

For the record, while editing this, I listened to Ke$ha(Blow, Take It Off, Tik-Tok), Lady Gaga (Boys, boys, boys) and Cascada (Evacuate The Dancefloor).

I imagine that Helen would tower ever-so-slightly over most of her male acquaintances (her husbands included) - which is what makes Wilbur so perfect for her! With him, she gets to wear heals and still feel petite and adored.

The Count's appearance is greatly inspired by the cover of my issue of 'Dracula' - with long hair and a wicked moustache.

And Helen is taller than I imagined °o°

dark-precipice In reply to MalakiaLaGatta [2013-04-22 20:52:12 +0000 UTC]

Fun fact - she's not even wearing heels in this picture!

I imagine that she's very tall - like maybe 1.85 meters tall. The thing is, when I draw her, she usually reaches Wilbur's shoulder while wearing heels, and he's about 8 feet tall/2.40 meters.

If she did, Hyde would need a bigger hat to reach her height (or become more evil than he currently is, since he grows as much as his wickedness does!)
