It's been a long while since I drew any Norse mythology, time to rectify that! Here is Loke taking a nap with three of his children: Sleipner, Fenrisulven and MidgΓ₯rdsormen.Related content

Exactly! Family wreckers. They didn't give Loki much of a chance to properly raise two half-gods, a horse, a wolf, a snake and a demon-like goddess of the Kingdom of the Dead.

Asgard is bound to have a messed up foster care system. And to be honest, Loki practically went out of his way to have his kids as weirdly as possible so everyone else must be too uncomfortable to be supportive.

They also have so tragic story, and are his children just as much as the other children

Yeah his daughter Hel is missing too. I have no excuse for leaving them out, other than I wanted to draw only the animal-children.

I know this is a dumb question but how did Loki have multiple children if 1.he is male 2.his children are all different animals and 3.HOW THE FUCK?!

Norse mythology is weird. Β I'm not sure about the other two but the horse happened because he transformed into a mare to distract a stallion from something so the other gods could win a bet or something like that. Unfortunately for Loki the stallion was faster then he anticipated and caught him, then did what stallions do to mares. So Loki became pregnant and gave birth to an eight legged horse named Sleipnir which in other stories is Odins mount.

Exactly! Kids respond to how you treat them. If they hadn't pulled those stupid stunts w tying Fenris and Tyr putting his hand in Fs mouth 'as a game', and then breaking the trust and chaining him down, I'm sure RagnarΓΆk would have played out differently..

Cool! I checked your page and see you're in Puerto Rico! That's amazing, someone so far away having dreams about MidgΓ₯rdsormen! For me as a Swede all the gods and monsters featured early in my life, so it's awesome that they also appear across the globe. If you have a pic of the tattoo somewhere online it'd be cool to see. If not I completely understand.

They are pretty awesome dreams. Being all the way over here meant I didn't know who I was dreaming about until much later in my life, but that's definitely not gonna be a problem for my future children. I plan to teach them all I can about them.
