I could actually see Dib and Wile E.Coyote having an intelligent conversation (especially after thinking about the looney Tunes episode where he meets Bugs Bunny).

I always thought Wile E. Cyote was a respresentation of the average person: no matter how how determined and smart you are, you will always lose to someone who relies on dumb luck

Looney Tunes + IZ = 100% WIN. I never thought about Wile E. Coyote being a hero per se, but I've always admired him for his determination, perserverance and ingenuity. Nice of him to give Dib a pep talk. ^^

Even though the Road Runner always wins, I've read a couple of times that the coyote is the real protagonist, and the character the audience usually identifies with.

Great pic here. I love Dib! He's so cute, and he does have a heart inside of him. It's sad that not many people see that. It pains me to see him get bashed so much. He deserves lots of love.

I got so tired of seeing all the hate art (as well as all the may-as-well-be-hate-art of Dib around here) I've been making myself scarce. Many don't believe that seeing such pictures even accidentally could ever make anyone feel bad. Like Dib in this picture, I say it's sure good to find someone who understands!
I can't take credit for saying that about Wile E, although I'd like to. I've seen it here and there online and in newspaper/magazine articles.

I agree! When I was little, I always felt bad for the poor coyote, and I just wanted him to kill and eat that stupid bird! But the whole point was that he couldn't, just like Tom will never kill Jerry, and Dib will never capture Zim. Well, there's fanartfor a reason...

Aw. Dib is cute in this. Well, he's cute all the time, but you know what I mean. Ever since I was little, I always wanted that Road Runner to DIE!!! Have you seen the episode of Family Guy where Peter runs it over and the coyote is smiling in the passengers seat? It was very satisfying.

You know, this was exactly What I wa stalking about back at your journal. How come my favorite charcters always end up getting screwed over? XD Ah such is life.... *sigh* Him and Daffy were my favorites... Silvester too.. I had a horrible obssesion with loony tunes when i was a kid, and my Mom helped me collect all their plushies.. *still has a daffy one* ;u; *cuddles it*

When these Looney Tunes cartoons first came out I'll bet most viewers immediately figured that being the predator, the coyote had to be the bad guy. Lately, however, I've seen several essays arguing that the coyote is in fact the protagonist.

Oh, Dib just brought the fried chicken when he came to visit. They're sitting down together for a picnic in the desert.
You may notice Dib has no appetite. He's just realized how many people hate him, so Wile E. is cheering him up.
