Okay. Finally saw one too many pictures depicting this piece of shit
as if he's fit to blacken Dib's boots with a ten foot pole. 
I know I'm probably the only person who ever does this, but I will sleep more soundly tonight knowing that a search on "dwicky" and any combination of the words "slimy, two-faced, backstabbing, traitor rat bastard" will actually return something now.

When I first saw this episode, I was appalled at what Dwick did to Dib! Poor Dib doesn't deserve this kind of treatment at all! I hope that jerk gets sucked into a black hole!
It did, however, give me a good plot point for the fanfic I'm writing. It takes place just after the episode with Dwicky. Dib is so depressed by the event that he even considers suicide! Fortunatly, he meets my OC Crystal, who he becomes great friends with. This pulls him out of his depression and gives him a newfound confidence for exposing Zim! So, I guess that a-hole is good for something. I still hate his guts, though.
Everyone's a little insane. Some people are just better at hiding it than others.

Okay, I've never actually seen this episode (dang I need to get the DVDs one of these days!), so correct me if I'm wrong on the facts, but didn't Dwicky kind of abandon Dib "by accident?" If I understand right, it was a case of empty-headed thoughtlessness, rather than outright vindicativeness, which if nothing else gives him the moral highground over MOST of the people who wind up screwing over Dib. A crime of ignorance (even to the point of idiocy) is at least better than a crime of malice.
And, if nothing else, you have to give Dwicky this: he was pretty much the only person, in the entire series, who actually tried to HELP Dib. Granted, he did it when he thought Dib was crazy, but none of the other characters ever thought, "Hey, let's figure out what makes Dib crazy and try to HELP him." Dwicky at least did that, which means a lot, as far as I'm concerned; even Membrane just seemed resigned to Dib's supposed insanity, seen most baldly in "Halloween Spectacular of Spooky Doom."
Again, this is just my understanding from reading ABOUT the episode; if I'm misunderstanding what happened please feel free to correct me there.
And yeah, down with DADR. If they were to ever meet again, I kind of like to think that Dwicky might realize how much he hurt Dib, apologize and have some kind of reconciliation...but romance? I might prefer it to ZADR, but frankly...no.
...Oh, and the picture is nice, and amusing.

I think it's possible to look at this both ways. The way I see it, that Dwicky first tried to help Dib and even called him things like "partner" and "friend" made it all the more poignant when he later forgot all that and ran out on him.
Have you seen this episode? Or has anyone told you how it ends? We certainly never saw Dib react like that when someone deliberately and maliciously hurt him.
Being hurt is bad enough; for it to come from a friend (or family member for that matter) is infinitely worse.

No, I admit I've never seen this episode, just heard about it, so I might be wrong about how I'm interpreting it; but from how I've heard it anyway, Dwicky left Dib more out of carelessness than any malicious intent. Which isn't to say it isn't horrible for Dib, just that Dwicky isn't necessarily a totally bad guy, just...stupid. 
Actually, now it occurs to me that you could kind of compare Dwicky to Membrane: neglectful, but not exactly a bad guy (at least, not most of the time). But again, this is just my interpretation. I need to go finally get the DVDs sometime...

Well, where do they get the idea of xAyR in the first place, het or homo, on INVADER ZIM??? I mean, for a lot of characters it would be hard to tell (Dib has shown straight leanings in the Tak eppy, but it's hard to tell from that; I acted like I had a crush on a boy when I was in elementary school and I'm lesbian). But since these pairings ignore canon anyway, it's not like any of that matters. I always consider it AU anyway.
As for the topic, I liked to watch Vindicated, even though it doesn't end funny, because it is tragically sad, and I relate a lot to Dib in it (like a lot of episodes, such as RWaM), and Dwicky reminds me of a school counselor I had in 7th grade who blamed my difficulties I faced on me rather than the bullies. I wish they didn't make his name so perseverative, though, it just kind of echoes in my head all day long once I've heard it once. [This Dwicky comic] I did might be to your liking.

I was simply outraged at that particular episode. Poor Dib needs a friend so badly, then Dwicky tells him he lied! Dib certainly didn't need a lie like that, to get his hopes up.
And on the subject of DADR, it's highly improbable. I mean..it's pedophilia for godsakes. It's just a way for the fans to draw..well, you know. :/
And to put poor Dib in those kind of situations..?

The rest wouldn't enjoy picking on him so much if the original show hadn't started them off. But what baffles me is how quickly people will completely forget there even is such a thing as canon when it comes to slash, the Irkens invading, Gaz actually caring enough about the earth to suddenly be the Great Big Hero, and Dib being written as worse than Hitler so even more people will hate him.
But when it comes to giving Dib a break? "NO! We can't! We couldn't possibly! That's not CANON!"
