Well I bought a water gun at Dollar Store ( $1.25) and painted it with acrylics. Then sprayed it with glossy finish so the paint will last even when using water on it.Took me almost 2 hours to do it (including time for waiting the paint to dry)
It was fun to do it!!
Materials:
Cheap Water Gun
Acrylics
Glossy Varnish Spray

Cool, I have a bubble gun I want to do this with. What glossy varnish would you suggest for the waterproofing?

I usually use krylon varnish, well the guy from the art store told me it is waterproof. And my friend used the water gun( he puts water on it tried shooting with his friends) and still the water gun looks new

We have about a dozen water guns in that style laying around the house. I'm going to have to steal one to try it. Did you just use acrylics or a special kind of paint?

I just used acrylics. But make sure use a water proof varnish so the paint will not fa away that easily
