I commissioned a very talented artist on tumblr to draw my Loki and Sigyn for me, and while I had a goofy comic setting up Loki's personality to kind of give the artist an idea about his mannerisms, I didn't have anything like that for Sigyn. So this happened.Knock knock? Go fuck yourself. Β

ME TOO, MAN. Sigyn is my very favorite figure of Norse myth, and so often I see her diminished to this bastion of "loyalty" and "devotion". Like, just because we only see her do one thing as per VΓΆluspΓ‘m that doesn't mean she has to be a paper-thin cookie-cutter person whose service is only to that stanza of one poem. I see Sigyn as a fascinating, staunch, and embittered women, half mad by the end of her ordeal. But idk. I suppose, if the sweet little loyal pushover is who people want to see, who am i to say that's wrong? We all have our own ideas and opinions.
