I just imagine that, over time, Rin could probably get away with more and more things around Sesshoumaru (yes yes, even if it's just during visits as mentioned in canon); she seems to get the entirety of his patience/indulgence.This is a gift for . She always leaves the most thoughtful comments on ALL my art - even the things that are for fandoms she doesn't follow. I have appreciated the support and kindness so much, especially during this rather rough last year I've had, so I wanted to do something in return.
This could be better... but I still hope she will like it!

Their eyes...they shine so bright! And Rin...oh she's so sweet, lovely, caring. I love her so SO much. I think they really are perfect together. I love the atmosphere in this piece, the looks on their faces, the bride, the flower in Rin's hair. Thank you so much for this piece!

Haha! I agree and can totally see this happening! I love his indifferent expression too, sort of like he's not surprised at all and doesn't mind - it's normal for Rin.

ERMERGERD Grown up rin and she died her hair brown X3 i love this so much! sesshomaru does not look that happy XDDD this is amazingly amazing the expressions the fact that sesshomaru looks like hes about to lose it XD (dog demons dont like having there hair touched!) I bet he would kill jaken or kagome if one of them did this.....if he killed kagome......well that wouldnt end happily with the family Xcough inuyasha coughX

Haha well, I suppose I didn't think too much about how dark her hair should be... it just seemed fitting to have it a softer color with the atmosphere of the picture? And when does Sesshoumaru ever look happy, even when he clearly is? He is really indulgent with Rin, even from the beginning, so after having known her this long I figured he'd be willing to let her do about anything - as long as there were no witnesses. XD So I never intended for him to seem like he was about to lose it. You're right though... I doubt that anybody else would be allowed to get away with something like this.

Well with normally he looks bord. But right now he looks like he's really annoyedeven for sesshomaru. I must say you captured him well. And your right I think Rin could get away with almost anything with nobody watching XD you captured that amazingly your art is sooooo awesome X3

Thank you very much! I'm so glad that it seems to capture what their relationship could be like in the future... it's hard enough to get characterizations down for things within the realm of canon, but it always gets little trickier with speculation. I'm really glad you like it!

Haha I have noticed that some people seem to get a little over-eager about his ears. I've always tried to keep them basically the same size as a human's but just with a different shape. I'm glad it apparently works out!
